Otse, Botswana – Camphill Community Trust

Hello again, everyone

As many of you know, Camphill Community Trust is located in the village of Otse in Botswana and is well worth a visit, if you get the opportunity, to see the excellent work they are doing. This could be done either on the way to or returning from the Camphill Dialogue Conference in Hermanus, South Africa.

Botswana is also an interesting place to visit, with several large game parks including Moremi Park in the Okavango Delta, near Maun and Chobe Park near Kasane, which is also near to the Victoria Falls (in Zimbabwe).

Here’s a possible itinerary you could consider:

·         Sunday (22March) (i.e. two days after the Hermanus conference): fly to Botswana and stay overnight in an hotel in the town of Lobatse, about 20km from Camphill.

·         Monday (23rd): tour of Camphill Community Trust and surrounding area.

·         Tuesday (24th) and onwards: visit other attractions in and around Botswana.

Camphill  Community Trust is very willing to assist with transport to and from Gaborone airport, as well as other logistics.
