Camphill Dialogue 2025 - Hermanus
The 2025 Dialogue conference took place at Hermanus, South Africa, where Camphill associates from around the world gathered for the 5 day event.
This important international gathering is aimed at strengthening collaboration among Camphill boards around the world. This year, the conference carried the theme ‘The organisational evolution of Camphill. What do we need to bring with us from our pioneering past to continue to differentiate?’ and included a host of guest speakers, workshops, activities and breakaway sessions.
Breakaway sessions included a walk about Camphill Farm with a craft & herbs workshop, art sessions, children’s concert and drumming sessions which
everyone enjoyed.
Camphill Dialogue 2020 - Hermanus
In Spring of 2020, the conference was ready to start in Hermanus, South Africa, and it did in fact have its opening speeches and an address by Christo Brand, the former gaoler of Nelson Mandela. Unfortunately, it closed again immediately because of the looming threat of COVID and imminent lockdown. This was a huge blow to everyone concerned and created a hiatus which at last can be repaired in 2025.
Camphill Dialogue 2017 - Aberdeen
The 2017 Dialogue conference took place at Aberdeen, Scotland.
The conference carried the theme ‘A Celebration of Diversity’ and included a host of guest speakers, workshops, activities and breakaway sessions. Including a ‘pilgrimage’ to Kirkton House where it all began.
